Sometimes, a piece of lost data isn’t all that bad.
I wrote for a while tonight. About abandonment, with undertones of futility and lonliness, and then about accomplishment, with undertones of joy, adventure and contentment.
Then I switched tabs, forgetting that safari would loose the writing in this tab if I left to go look at a Wikipedia article on Plato’s Apology. Sometimes it’s better to have written and lost than to never have written at all. There is a special zen to clearing your thoughts and then clearing the page.
Tomorrow I have got to make myself get through at least a sheet of Byron Katie’s work. It’s time to fall back into grace.
