“His name was Robert Paulson.”
I’ve spent several days painting the stump of the tree that we named Robert Paulson after it fell and I think its finally finished. This will be connected to the ground at the ratskull nest until it isn’t anymore.
this is a piece i’ve been working on on and off again since last august, tentatively titled “the itch”. Sometimes you have to destroy something just to be able to continue creating, and I believe that may be the lesson of the week.
I gave this painting to my good friend jefus last december. since then it has been framed and integrated into a wonderful action figure party.
Frozen - 1’ x4’ work in progress
if i could get away with doing this with all of my time, everything would probably be okay.
our path to loyalty
might be finished.
i’ve got to wait until the layers dry and i get better light…. and some time to reflect on them.
that probably means it won’t ever be finished.
there is something about this year plus long project that makes me feel horribly fake. then there is the fact that it makes me feel horribly anything, and i can’t help but think that MUST be a really good thing.
i never really thought that strength, wisdom, love, compassion, and patience could make me feel so incredibly uncomfortable.
anyways, since i’m not going to say much else about them tonight, i’ll show you the first photo i have of them: (12.5.10)
Totally found 3 bucks & some change on my PayPal account and can afford to list more than 15 pieces on my Etsy page! I’m listing some more smaller pieces because they are more affordable. Almost everything here has BFF prices built in. Go tell your friends! BFF prices for total strangers.
Capitolisocracy.
Still in progress from almost a year ago, picked this up off of the “for later” pile. Horrible glare, if you couldn’t tell.
